DMCA / Copyright Policy

ClipDeck respects copyright and responds to valid takedown notices, even though the service itself doesn't host or store any media.

What ClipDeck actually does with a file

ClipDeck's resolver streams media directly from Instagram's own CDN through a temporary, signed link — it does not copy files to a server we control or host a library of content. A takedown here means we stop resolving links to the reported content, not removing a file from storage, since there isn't one.

Filing a notice

Send a notice to the email on the Contact page with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the specific Instagram URL you believe is being infringed, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

What happens after a valid notice

Once a notice with all of the above is received, ClipDeck will stop resolving the reported link. Repeat or clearly abusive claims may be declined.
